CannonDesign has an exceptional opportunity for a temporary Recruitment Student Intern based in our Grand Island, NY office. We are an integrated global design firm that unites a dynamic team of architects, engineers, strategists, futurists, researchers, and industry specialists driven by a singular goal - to help solve our clients' and society's greatest challenges.
The successful candidate will be a member of our Human Resources department and will work with our experienced recruitment team members in supporting full cycle recruiting for multiple offices. As an important part of our HR team, you'll have the opportunity to be involved with a variety of tasks including: resume review, phone screening candidates, new hire onboarding, general departmental administration, and assistance with special projects. You will have the ability to team with our highly experienced HR staff and participate in our mentoring program.
Qualified candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor in Human Resources, Business or related field. Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail and deadlines is essential. Must be collaborative, professional, service-oriented, and team-focused. Knowledge of HR laws and HR practices is a plus.
