CannonDesign has an exceptional opportunity for a Human Resources Representative based in our Houston, TX office. We are an integrated global design firm that unites a dynamic team of strategists, futurists, researchers, architects, engineers, and industry specialists driven by a singular goal—to help solve our clients’ and society’s greatest challenges.
 
The successful candidate will be part of the firm-wide Human Resources team and will support multiple offices.  One of your most important contributions will be to recruit top talent and contribute to an environment that will retain the best design professionals in the industry. Commitment to building a solid knowledge and understanding of the design profession is critical. Demonstrated success in sourcing and recruiting talent in a competitive environment, including using social recruiting and other networking strategies, is essential.  Responsible for supporting your business partners with processes such as performance management, benefits open enrollment, new hire onboarding, employee relations and exit interviews.
 
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years’ relevant experience is required. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, strong organizational and time management skills, and excellent judgment, professionalism, tact, project management, flexibility, communication skills, and diplomacy are essential. Strong Microsoft Office and applicant tracking system skills required. The ability to partner effectively with a highly articulate and creative professional population; exceptional organizational and follow-up skills; and a strong customer service focus will be essential to success in this role. Must be flexible, detail-oriented, and organized. Occasional travel required.
 
As a condition of employment, all CannonDesigners are expected to complete mandatory training, including compliance training, within required timeframes and adhere to our internal policies and our Code of Conduct.
