The Yazdani Studio of CannonDesign is a laboratory for exploration and experimentation in architecture.
Located in Los Angeles, the studio functions as part maker space, part virtual design hub, and part innovation and research epicenter. Its architects, designers, 3D artists, technical specialists, and creative thinkers are entirely committed to pushing the boundaries of design — from inventing entirely new building typologies to refining concepts of sustainability and applying radical technologies and building strategies.
Life in the studio is transdisciplinary, meaning designers work across all building typologies and markets to apply the best ideas to each project regardless of what industry they come from. Designers are often found working on museum exhibits one day, hospitals the next, and university and office buildings in between. This non-conventional approach to design and architecture has led to commissions with progressive clients around the world and coverage in publications including the New York Times, Fast Company, WIRED, ARCHITECT and Architectural Record, to name a few.
